Bên cạnh đó, bác sĩ Nguyên Giáp có rất nhiều bài báo cáo khoa học ở nhiều Hội nghị thẩm mỹ quốc tế.
Stepping into Life and a Change of Direction
According to Người Lao Động Newspaper,Doctor Tran Nguyen Giap hails from a family in Huế known for their tradition of researching and collecting antiques in Ho Chi Minh City. From a young age, he was exposed to and refined his knowledge in literature, history, the arts, and cuisine. Although well-versed in these artistic fields, which seemed to pave the way for him to follow his family's path, at the age of 18, he chose to follow his heart and become a doctor.
Doctor Nguyen Giap shared: “Born into a family with a strong educational background, I am truly grateful but also feel some pressure. When choosing my career, I wanted to find a field that was not dry, had an artistic aspect, allowed for creativity, and, importantly, required precision and attention to detail. The University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Ho Chi Minh City was where I laid the first bricks on my journey to becoming a cosmetic surgeon.”
18 Years of Dedication to Becoming a Cosmetic Surgeon
After six years of study and graduating as a General Practitioner from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Ho Chi Minh City, in 2010, Doctor Nguyen Giap pursued further studies in Otolaryngology and Aesthetic Surgery at Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine.
- ● 2013: Completed a fellowship with Professor William H. Truswell, President of the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, marking a significant step toward his dream.
- ● 2014: Continued fellowship in Facial Plastic Surgery with Professor Albert Fox in Massachusetts, USA.
- ● 2016: Trained with Dr. Ki Su Jung, a leading expert in liposuction and fat grafting in South Korea. During this seminar, Doctor Nguyen Giap presented on “Fat Grafting for Rejuvenation in the Elderly.”
- ● 2017: Received a commemorative medal with Dr. Ji Jung Choi in Manila, Philippines.
- ● 2019: Awarded an honorary diploma by the President of the Aesthetic Surgery Training Association for his contributions to the field of Facial Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery.
Sau nhiều năm không ngừng học hỏi, nghiên cứu để trau dồi thêm kiến thức Y Khoa. Năm 2018, từ chối nhiều lời đề nghị làm việc tại nước ngoài, bác sĩ Nguyên Giáp quyết định trở về Việt Nam, tiếp tục học tập và tốt nghiệp Thủ khoa Bác sĩ Chuyên khoa II Chuyên ngành Phẫu thuật Thẩm mỹ tại Đại học Y Khoa Phạm Ngọc Thạch. Năm 2020, chính thức thành lập Phòng khám chuyên khoa thẩm mỹ của riêng mình sau nhiều năm làm việc tại các Bệnh viện thẩm mỹ lớn.
Doctor Nguyen Giap stated: “Aesthetic surgery is an art, created from the hands and minds of dedicated doctors. Beyond being focused and pouring my heart into each surgery, a doctor must understand, empathize, and prioritize the well-being of their patients and clients.”
After five years of living, studying, and researching in developed countries such as the USA, South Korea, Italy, and Germany, and experiencing a myriad of emotions abroad, Doctor Nguyen Giap has dedicated over eight years to the field of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
